Maison Lafeuille

  • 17th Century Quercynoix Stone Farmhouse in extensive grounds

  • Sleeps 8–14 with cot (four doubles and dormitory for six)

  • Private 10m swimming pool

  • Peaceful Hilltop location affords charming views

This majestic farmhouse with its ancient architectural features of pagoda-like roof, pigeonnier, bolet and souillarde evoke an atmosphere of centuries past in this most beautiful and historic region of rural France. Standing high above the village in a hamlet of five dwellings, the house has been carefully restored over the last decade by skilled masons and carpenters from the area.

Maison Lafeuille provides comfortable accommodation for large parties that might include several families. The extensive grounds, which include an enclosed private pool, have mature trees, shady terraces and a large flat paddock, ideal for garden games.

The property was selected for the "Alastair Sawday Special Places to Stay – French Self Catering" guide.
